When the excitement wears out

Did you feel excited after buying your first DSLR, and for how long did this last? It is easy to imagine what you want out of the camera, but the real work is in actualizing this. Nonetheless, the best way to recover is by learning from our mistakes.

I bought my first DSLR out of impulse, and after a while, the excitement wore off. A lot of work goes into taking good photos, plus the editing part brings everything else into perspective.

My interest in photography started in my teenage years, and even after getting a camera as a birthday present, I did not put in the work. It must have gathered dust for months before I started taking this craft seriously. It is easy to lose focus once the excitement is over.
