What you need for ocean sports?

I need to shoot a fairly short scene with two wave runners for a commercial. I'm excited to have landed the account and I feel comfortable using a drone, but I'm not sure what else I should take with me. Can I get some help from my lovely peers here?

A splash guard might help to keep the water off the lens, unless that's the look you're going for. It will offer your camera more protection.

I saw this DIY idea for keeping the drone dry. I guess the bottles are meant to float and act as a buoy, thus keeping the drone out of the water. What do you think?

It looks to me like the bottles will let water inside, which will end up pulling the drone down as they sink. Yikes! That screams bad idea to me.
