The Sony A7C

Sometime in September, Sony announced this camera, which, so far, is the smallest in the Alpha range of full-frame mirrorless cameras. A new kit lens also pairs up with the A7C, meaning that it goes for sale at 2,099 with it and $1,799 without the kit zoom lens.

The Sony A7C, so far ,has attracted quite a few unfavorable reviews, that point out that it has forsaken some features ( eg touchscreen ) for a slightly smaller body. It also compares badly in price, compared to similar Canon models. I would weigh up the pros and cons carefully before considering one.

I find the price rather astonishing. How on earth are is Sony justifying that? They've never been considered a top dollar camera operation, so I can't imagine this will go over well.
