The rule of thirds

Any photographer must be familiar with the concept which divides an image evenly into thirds, both vertically and horizontally. The photographer can then place the image at two points, either at the intersection of those dividing lines or on one of the lines. Was it easy or hard for you to grasp this rule?

It's pretty easy concept to grasp. Just keep the subject front and center and try to keep the back and foregrounds relevant to the subject. If you're going for juxtaposition in the shot, the same rule applies. Even more so I would think.

The rule of thirds is basically just centering with more steps to take to do it. So yes, it was easy for me to figure.
