Back in the day, photography wasn't what it is today. Only an expert with advanced training was able to handle photographic equipment and darkroom chemicals. What would you attribute to the continuing accessibility and convenience over the years?

Smartphones and the need for the best selfies turned a whole generation into amateur photographers for better or for worse. I realize that makes me sound like a grumpy old man.

Money. This is a big market that has been able to adapt to changes over the years because consumer demand has been consistent. I'm also glad there's still a lot of competition between brands.

I think the consumer base is the main reason. When demand stays level or increases, changes will be made to the supply through the years to keep up.
