It is a technique in which you can set up how the buttons on the camera function. With this, you can get sharper images when doing night and low light photography, portraits, and still life photos. Does anyone have enough experience with this?

I'm pretty new to the field, so I can't say that I've tried that technique yet. Is it difficult to master or is considered a standard trick that most people know?

Okay, I decided to look it up. That does seem like a good idea. I'll try that.

Anyone, irrespective of their expertise, can learn how to use the technique. I'm not very experienced, but I understand how useful it is in stopping the camera's autofocus system from continuously being engaged when the shutter is released.
