Setting the Highlights

In food photography, it's essential to have the right amount of light exposure. Too much light or too little of it can make the picture look unappetizing. It can ruin the whole image, so adding layers when applying highlights can help. How do you work with highlights?

I love that you do food photography. How interesting!

For me, it depends on what the child is wearing for the most part, since some materials reflect light differently than others.

It usually depends on the raw picture since it's more difficult working with brighter images compared to darker ones. I'd reduce the highlights when I want the picture to show more details.
