Selling digital photos on the blockchain

Some photographer took a digital photo of a New York Times column and sold it on the blockchain for mega bucks. Have you guys heard of this? It happened back in the spring, but I've only just heard about it, and I'm dying to know how common it is. It has to be a fluke, right? Who knew you could sell digital photos as part of the crypto mania that's going around.

Whoever bought it probably did so just to be a part of something unique and new. Whatever they paid for it, I highly doubt it was worth the price tag.

I hope he transfers the funds for the sale from Crypto to conventional quickly. Value fluctuations in Crypto can happen drastically and suddenly, so he could lose a bunch of money if he doesn't transfer quickly.
