Prompters

Do you guys have any advice when it comes to using prompters, cue cards, and the like. I'm way out of my element on this one. I've been asked to help make a film and neither of us have experience with acting or directing films that involve people. In other words, I don't think I can use my standard go-to, which is a doggie biscuit.

All that you need is the software and a screen that's large enough to read off of. If you're under serious budget constraints, then you can probably achieve it with a projector, a white sheet, and a tablet.

That's a great idea, @Rachel! We're shooting a low-budget promo and that's something we can easily string together and still have the end result look decent. Thanks!

I've used a big screen TV before and a USB drive that held the script prompts. We had most of the dialogue memorized, of course, but the prompts really helped, and I already owned the TV. Use what you have.
