Professional licensing

In some places, a professional license is mandatory. Other authorities are a bit relaxed about this. Even when it is not a serious requirement, acquiring one will make clients trust you more. What are your thoughts?

I agree. Whenever I see work truck pass me by on the freeway, I look for the "Licenced and Bonded" somewhere on the truck along with the licence number assigned to the business by the state. Same thing with photography if you have your own business. It speaks to your professionalism.

I agree! Not every client will care to ask about these details, but licensing helps a photographer avoid any embarrassing situations. Getting a license isn't so costly and is a necessity, especially for those in business!
