I use Amazon a lot and have always wondered if the seller snaps their own photos of the product, or if they farm that job out. If the latter is the case, what would be the best way to go about getting a gig like that?
I think I have seen a few gigs like this posted on Upwork. There are a lot of Amazon sellers looking for product photography and product description writers. You might find something in there.
I tried the Upwork thing many, many years ago and didn't really get into it. I might give it another chance. I'm sure things have changed over the years.
Sellers who are only starting would probably capture the pictures of their products for a cheaper cost. Even hiring freelancers on this one can sometimes be too much, depending on the store's budget.
