Own Pictures Or Stock Photos?

If you have your own website, would you spruce it up with your own photographs or use stock photos from the internet? It's easy enough to find relevant photos, but still, I'm kind of a purist and want to use my own stuff.

It's misleading in my opinion, because it would make visitors think that I shot those photos. It would also be incredibly embarrassing if a customer asked about the image out of a desire for a similar look. I wouldn't want to explain that situation.
