I love watching nature documentaries, especially ones about birds! I've always wondered what goes into making them, especially getting footage of wild animals in their natural habitats. Has any one ever worked on a nature documentary?

I love watching nature documentaries, especially ones about birds!

I've tried capturing images of birds but haven't made a documentary about it. Photographing them already requires a huge deal of effort and patience. I can't imagine what goes into making a film about birds.

Nature documentaries are fascinating while at the same time dangerous for videographers. Yet, I would still love to work on one to experience the wilderness. I'm expecting that being a fast runner would help.
