Nanoscience Photography

If Covid taught us anything, it's that people need to be more educated in science and medicine. An effective way of doing this, if done right, is through visuals. They can supplement text as a learning tool.

Anyone know how hard it is to break into this specialized field of photography?

That niche sounds like it will require you to have a scientific degree before qualifying for it. You'll be dealing with particles here in which some could be dangerous, and you'd have to know about them to prevent any hazard.

I have no experience with this but it does sound like it would be useful. I do agree with Culture Shot in that you would probably need a lot of expertise on the subject. Good luck if you try your hand at this.

It'll be interesting to get into this, but aside from being knowledgeable in Science, you will have to prepare to learn using more tools. Your usual camera won't be enough in this niche.
