Lighting Underwater

The development in filmmaking has made it possible to shoot underwater but I doubt there aren't challenges to this. The rules won't change that cinematography has to be manipulated in order to deliver the message of the story. Considering that this would be done underwater, the lighting might be more difficult to adjust. What tips do you think would be helpful in controlling the light underwater?

It might help to have lighting that surrounds the whole scene, but more staff work might be necessary. When watching behind the scenes, I would usually see another person holding a light near the actor/actress.
