Learning a New Skill

So, I had this crazy idea lately that I wanted to start learning how to code. I've always been fascinated by programming, so I thought I'd give it a try. So far so good, we have learned some HTML basics, but I guess it'll only get more and more complicated as we go. Any coders out here who could share some tips?

Although I tried learning Python, I could never quite get the hang of it. Maybe I'll try a different coding language. I wish you tons of luck.
