What, in your opinion, are the best examples of unique or creative directing or cinematography?
One that comes to mind is "Rope" by Hitchcock, an entire film shot in one continuous take. ( Actually "dolly shots" were used, i.e. the back of somebody's jacket, as a cassette of film was only a maximum of 1000 feet, or 10 minutes long.)
