Getting Frustrated on Set

As viewers, we don't get to see the frustrations and tension that could happen behind the set. But it's probably one of the things that can occur if people have been working long hours with a lack of sleep. How do you help people manage this if you're the director?

It'll be a waste to continue filming if everyone isn't feeling comfortable, more so if this will affect their performance. The best that a director can do is communicate with everyone to know if they'll be up to the task for the day.

I'm with TruthSeeker. I think directors push it too far sometimes. I know that deadlines matter and there is money involved, but sometimes it's better to call it a wrap and try again the next day.
