It's good to learn additional skills that are useful to various industries. Learning about design will help you find extra work, especially with the rise of social media. Regarding graphic design and editing, do you know where I can find free and beginner-friendly online courses?

I'm always looking to improve my craft, so I do free courses whenever I can. Udemy has a bunch of freebies that are great. I highly recommend Vicki Lau's course! I learned a ton from that one.

Udemy is a great place, like LifeCaptured mentioned. I am not sure about their free stuff, but they often run promotions to some pretty good courses. Also, YouTube has so many tutorial videos on Photoshop and Illustrator (the ones I often use and want to learn about).

Certain free courses are quite good, but they tend to be limited. I've always thought that if you really want to learn more, it's better to invest some money in it. Of course this is my own opinion
