Fight Scenes

Fight scenes in films fascinate me. The actors and stunt people make the fights look realistic, but also (hopefully) don't hurt each other on set. Does anyone have experience filming fight scenes, as either the actor/stunt person or the person behind the camera?

I've no experienced with that. However, it's unlikely that people won't get hurt during fight scenes. There'd be some pain, but it's probably minimized, especially if multiple shots are needed.
