Common Issues with Canon

Care to share problems you've encountered with this brand? I'm trying to see if the usual problems are manageable since I'm checking out this camera. I also want to be prepared and hear others' experiences. When buying something new, I look into how much maintenance it might require.

I don't have any major complaints about the brand. Their cameras are made well and take good images. I think their extended warranty is pretty useless, though. Mailing a lens off to get fixed is a big expense and hardly worth it.
