Cinematography Lessons from Anime

Even if anime is composed of drawings and is mostly adapted from manga, it contains cinematography once it has been set into motion. Lighting, angles, and color start to influence the message of the story aside from the emotions created by anime voice actors. It's no doubt techniques used in anime are effective given the reputation it has built. There might even be methods from it that can enhance films.

It may be easier to manipulate the lighting and color in anime since it was made from drawings. So I think experimenting with it can help discover techniques that can improve cinematography.
