Are the Canon Full Focus cameras the best HDSLRs that money can buy? If someone is serious about professional photography, should they choose from this range or is there a serious contender from any other brand of camera?
It's so subjective, honestly. I'm not a diehard Canon fan, but there are some here who think everything begins and ends with the company. They make great cameras though, so you'd do well with one.
I don't think Canon has technology that is leaps and bounds above the rest, but they do seem to specialize in this. I would try that brand first and go from there.
I'm going to have to disagree with @The Aire. Canon has been the biz for ages, and they're often the front-runners when it comes to innovation. I think they make some of the best and most affordable HDSLR cams that you can get.
