Boudoir Sessions

They say that some photographers overthink and over-pose their subjects when they take these types of pics. They say you should just click and go.......that you'll get a more natural looking subject.

Your thoughts?

These sessions should never be done in a rush because it is almost impossible to recreate scenes. The photographer should also make the shoot participant feel at ease from the beginning.

It would be better if subjects will have a chance to pose as they like. Boudoir sessions should be empowering so it's ideal that the subject can express his or her true self.

I agree. I think giving too many instructions to the subject will also make them feel uncomfortable. In a boudoir session, clothes are intimate enough to make the model feel embarrassed. It's important to have a welcoming or encouraging attitude when you're handling this kind of photography.
