In 1837, the first aerial photograph was taken at Place De L’Étoile, Paris, at an altitude of 520 meters in a hot-air balloon. Someone goes there now, takes a black and white from a drone at the same altitude, and posts a side-by side on their blog. They then make a point of telling the viewer that the best photographers know their history.

Not a bad idea. But you could take it farther and post a color photo, and then an airbrushed color photo. A mini timeline of how the technology has changed and that you have the skills to utilize it.
